And so, you make your way to family gatherings on special dates. Is there a bit of trepidation or much joy? It can vary year to year, for you are ever evolving as a result of your experiences. But what happens when you gather to break bread? You can easily fall back into former roles. Who are you beyond the role you are playing in relation to others? Why, you are that other at the deepest level. What if you saw each other as both the role player and the soul playing? This might very well lead to a much sweeter dessert.
