It matters not whether you are an old soul or a young soul—which is quite different from being an old human or a young human. You are here for the soul’s growth. This is had by learning opportunities in which you make choices. Do not think that old or young you do not get to learn. By making choices that are in alignment with love and other qualities of the soul, you serve the whole. It is that simple. Even old souls are put to sleep so that they can enjoy the process of re-awakening. But does it matter how many times your soul has been around the block? If it matters to your ego, then have a little chat with your soul.
Suzanne, thankyou for Sanaya’s message today. I have been praying to hear a word from my son Billy who I miss so very much. You did a reading for me and brought both Billy and my daughter Elizabeth through, which brought me so much comfort but lately I have felt such a concern about Billy as I see him sleeping and in my minds eye I am holding him while he sleeps. Todays message about even old souls being put to sleep was an answer to that prayer. Thankyou again for all you do for so many of us Suzanne. XOXO
As I approach 70 and look back at my life, I have to smile at my newly-awakened enthusiasm for spirituality at age 20. It led me to believe that I was definitely an “old soul” and I derived great pride from that belief. Now, 50 years later, I know just how far I have to go to join the ranks of the spiritually evolved and feel a huge humility.
I was honored to briefly host a genuine old soul in my son Jeffrey and the wisdom and peace in his eyes put my pretensions into perspective. In his almost-13 years on Earth, he touched many lives and I’m still trying to live up to the standard he set.
What a beautiful comment, Patricia. Thank you for your wisdom. I wish I had known your son when he was here. xxoo
