How could I be apart from you? If you do not die, then where do you go? And who is the “you” that doesn’t go anywhere? These are the types of questions that take you farther on your journey. “The journey to where?” you ask, “If I do not go anywhere when I die?” To awareness, to re-membering, to waking up. “Who am I? What is I? Who is the one thinking these questions?” If these questions make your head spin, then set your head aside. The heart already knows the answers. The heart is the bridge between you and all other souls who share the same Source. Your roots connect. Picture the web in this way if you must, but even roots are things and you are no-thing. You simply are. What is it that is no thing at all yet IS? Answer that and you will have taken a giant leap forward.
Someone asked about the fear of becoming nothing after death and Suzanne talked about “the story” etc.
I’m curious what Sanaya says about PTSD. Most people don’t understand about PTSD. When the brain’s alarm system gets triggered, the terror of non existence can show up. In studies, meditation can be the worst thing for a triggered brain because it causes right brain dominance and continues the right brain amygdala trigger of PTSD. I’ve learned that being active and using left brain techniques, the fear of non existence is calmed down. So the fear of non existence is a PTSD physiological effect of a sympathetic state of mind. When Suzanne says to meditate or breathe about the fear of existence, I’m wondering what Sanaya thinks about people who know life as oneness clearly, but don’t know that PTSD can cause the effect of fear and that it’s just a brain mechanism that needs to be interrupted. I’m concerned because many spiritual practices don’t understand PTSD and that it’s just a mechanism that caused the “fear” and can be calmed by doing active interruption of the brain’s alarm. Meditation or philosophy don’t work on PTSD triggered brains. This has been researched and people think they are afraid of non existence and don’t know it’s just a panic attack. I see this happening everywhere in spirituality so often and it seems no one knows about it. I see people all the time in a panic attack and what they need to do is get up and walk around and do techniques to calm the alarm and cortisol response. Has Sanaya addressed this before? I’ll look up in the index. Thanks for your time
We have learned through a shamanic course that after their death some entities not knowing where they are
cling to humans, whether relatives or not, being stuck between two worlds at bardo level where they feed on the person’s energy.
What would Sanaya and Suzanne say about this situation?
With many thanks and appreciation for Suzanne’s amazing work.
