“Don’t let it go to your head.” “They have a big head.” In both of these instances, the words refer to a sense of self and not really the body part that sits above the neck, and we ask, “Why is this so?” For when the self-awareness is invested only in the thinking part of you and not the feeling-knowing part more associated with the heart, decisions and actions follow which are self-centered. What if you realized the true center of you is the heart—the space from which you know you are part of something greater that includes all beings? Why, then, you would not go to the head when you have a challenge; you would go to the heart. It will not lead you astray. Yes, the head is logical, but the heart is more able to understand situations from alternate perspectives. Have a big heart, why don’t you?
You are so very loved.

Growing up in a family where “being emotional” was frowned on, this idea of going to the heart for guidance opens a new world to me. Even at the age of 79. So I am ‘thinking” about it … true to my nature. I anticipate some fun adventures to come from it. I can tell you that the number we call age may be what we know, but the heart feels no age. Agelessness and freedom. That’s what I feel in my heart. Thank you, Sanaya.
This awareness – of the ageless aspect of Self – is the key to everything!
Right before I opened the cloud pictured email, I had just taken some cloud pics and thanked my son for sending them!
Couldn’t attatch the pic but it looks very much like the one in the Awakened Way!
Coincidence? I think not!
If you would like the picture let me know!
?❤️??
So very true. I’ve known this for a long time and never been able to explain to others who need this message. Thank you!
(We met at a Santa Barbara IANDS meeting before the Pandemic.)
This was so helpful to me… Tuning into my heart, my inner self, for insight into my thoughts at a particularly difficult time. It transformed my whole approach. I feel more peaceful. Thank you!!
Way to go!
