Do not ever think that you have learned it all. When you reach a point that no new information seems to be coming forth, this is merely a fertile time of resting and integrating what has already been learned. Why come into this incarnation if not to continue growing? Hear us well, you never cease growing, even after you have left the body. Did you ever get excited about opening a new book? Each moment is like that for the soul. We are excited for you. Won’t you join us in turning the next page?

One of the times i had seen my dad, his aging was clearly past retirement, and i easily noticed his eyes were failing and his hearing… well, it was failing but, it was partially “selective hearing”. He had worked long and hard and now had hit the “age of entitlement” (?) i guess.
A few years later, i came ‘home’ to visit my parents again. Mum was proudly and happily busy catering her cooking wares but dad sat quietly in his chair with the large newspaper sheets giving witness to only his eyes… HEY… he can’t be reading!… … he hasn’t his eyeglasses on nor has he turned the page! So, i asked dad, “Are you meaning to be a bit rude for a reason?” His brow furrowed, his nose wrinkled, and his stare upon me was definitely perplexed. He tilted, then shook his head and said, “Why would you say that to me?”
To explain what i thought obvious, i said, “Youre darn near blind, you havent got your eyeglasses on and you haven’t turned the page.
“No!” No i haven’t turned the page, …it is a very long article that requires thought, and as to my lack of eyeglasses, my eyes seem new, better than when i was 15 years old… and he stared at me.
(New eyes???). “What do you mean dad?”
“Oh, (a pause) you dont know yet but, i had cataract surgery on both my eyes and they’re like new. Does that fit your concept of rudeness? Now it’s your turn to turn the page” (He smiles)
I smiled and yea, i was happy to turn the page and i giggled. “Oh, i see”.
“Me too” he says.
Sometimes the pages of others have been turned …but that, you didn’t recognize. You simply can’t see through the eyes of another. Go from there. Advance your point of view.

I would have sworn this message was posted a week ago (or so) yet when i went back to look if it was exactly the same, it seems it had not been posted then. That gave me a very strange feeling.
