When you think you cannot go on, you do. You may feel as if you have no desire to continue in this drama called life, but there is a reason. You are here to shine like the sun. As you are well aware, the sun does not go out. It may slip behind the clouds or become darkened when the earth revolves, but it continues shining no matter what. Yes, we understand you may not feel like shining, but you shine anyway just by being. That is what you do. It is your nature. So don’t worry if you don’t feel like shining. Shining happens. The clouds will pass. Just be. Don’t worry about doing anything at all.

I just left a local cemetery putting flags on graves of armed service members. While doing this and seeing friends I have history with as being a part of those buried there, I asked why are they gone and I’m still here? I think Sanaya might have just answered my question.

This post came on a day that I did not think I could muster any more energy just to get through the day. Holidays are no longer fun for me after the death of my son. This post gave me the permission to be sad and the strength to go on one more day. Thank you!
I know the feeling quite well…..my wife of 50 years passed now three years ago and each day I have to give myself a “Pep Talk” to just get going in the am and then several times during the day…….my Mom lived 20 years after my Dad passed and I just DO NOT want to hang around here for years waiting for my time to come…….I will do so; however, it is extremely difficult!
