Why do you revere celebrities?  You think they live the ideal life.  They receive attention and accolades.  They live lives of comfort and opulence.  They have active social lives and receive much attention.  Many of these are actors.  You do not know if what you see is an act or not, do you?  You know these things bring a modicum of happiness, but not without a price.  You have all the riches in the world inside you.  All the opulence.  Peace and happiness is the innate human drive.  Envy no other.  What you are seeking is well within your reach.  In fact, you can have it with your hands held firmly at your side, reaching nowhere.  Take a deep breath and exhale.  Dissolve inside to that place beyond physical riches, beyond thought, and you will find yourself in a state that may seem dark and limited, but is actually filled with light and is limitless.  This is the treasure that lies within … within Consciousness, the greatest stage upon which and within which to play.  It does not mean you escape the world in which you find yourself just as so many escape by watching celebrities upon a stage.  Knowing this place, this state is within enhances your experience by showing you a part that never changes, that is utterly free.
