If you find yourself at odds with another, that is not so odd. You are engaged in the dance of duality. Which one of you is darkness and which one light depends on the point of view, for it is oh so human to think that you are the one who is right. “But it’s not so black and white!” you say, and in this we delight, for yes, dear ones it is. Choose to see from the human point of view or from that of the soul. All problems dissolve at the higher levels where they turn into opportunities. Compromise, negotiation, compassion, listening, caring … all of these flow in when you step off the dance floor for just a moment. Now step back in and take what you have learned with you from higher awareness. At the very least, know that you are all so very loved, no matter what. Shift frequently to the world of no matter and you will understand.

I am so thankful for this insight. I’m an empath and deal regularly with a family friend & biz associate in CA. (I’m in Montana). He’s a narcissist and tends to make judgements on others and criticizes me without knowing what I am dealing with. So, I’m trying to be more like Jesus and respond to him in more loving ways, instead of just saying no and setting boundaries. I really needed to see what I need to do in writing.
