Be grateful for what you have in this moment. You do not know what the next moment will bring. Life is about change. Most likely, you do not want to hear this, putting the hands over the ears and proclaiming, “I want things to stay like this forever.” This moment is exactly what you need. What does it have to teach you? In an instant, it is gone, and here is another now and now and now. With gratitude for what life presents you now, flow happens from now to now. Change is acknowledged and accepted, and with this, suffering is gone.
You are so very loved.

Dear Suzanne,
I understand -be present in the moment and -be grateful and loving for everything I (we) have. But I have a hard time with accepting terrible, hurtful things others have done. A lot of times this affects many people involved. Please explain a little more to help.
Thank you,
Monica Peters
Hi Monica, The Awakened Way of living helps us remember that we are BOTH human and souls. By shifting to the soul’s higher and neutral “isnt that interesting”/compassion-filled perspective, we don’t get caught up in suffering and can take appropriate action when we shift back into human mode.
I no longer receive The Daily Way in my email inbox. I enjoy and look forward to reading and being uplifted by the message content. What is needed for me to again receive The Daily Way?
Bev will try to help you!

Hi, my name is monique Sophie tanberg I’m 39 born august 6 1982 born at 438 pm phx az county hospital I’m a single mom of two boys Noah just turned 4 August 18 and Abraham will be 2 Nov 18 . We are here.. NOW
I have learned to be grateful for all things in my experience. Grateful for dirty dishes, means I have had food to eat. Grateful for laundry to wash, means I have clothes to wear. Grateful for a warm bed & a roof over my head. I read somewhere that Albert Einstein used to say thank you with each step 100 times a day, or something to that effect. I love the number 9 & say thank you 9 times for all gifts received through out the day, also before & after every meal. It is all too easy to, “get into a groove”, wanting things to stay the same. It is comfortable. Then you realize your groove has become a rut. I remember being at work one day & hearing myself saying; I wish this day was over. And then the next day; I will be glad when the weekend gets here. I thought, I am just wishing my life away. Upon consciously shifting that negative sentiment to being accepting to whatever the day brings made life easier. Just enjoy the space your in & to use an old phrase…Take time to smell the roses.
I feel loved!
Beautifully practical- thanks for reminding us all of the simplicity of daily rituals.
