You want to know why there is war and famine when others have food, why there is poverty when others have riches beyond imagining. In the grand scheme of evolution, most humans are quite young. You can see this in the choices made. Altruism is a sign of maturity. Do not think that age in this lifetime has anything to do with it. That is a local phenomenon. Think in terms of evolution of the species and know that each choice you make either propels you forward or holds you back on a personal and unified level. May this understanding help you to find peace as you see child-like actions in humanity. Be cautious as you might judge, for you would not judge a child for doing what a child does. Instead, guide others and model mature action.

This hit home, thank you. I am looking at buying a simple home for a family of three that have been devastated by the death of their father and job loss for the mom because of COVID. I’ve known them for 15 years. I’m in the fortunate position of being able to help them although it’s all my savings but I’ll make it up soon. My only son is over the veil and I would have spent that and more on him so why not share what I can. I feel he is in agreement with me making this decision. Beautiful but also a bit sad… how long will we gave to grow… ages and ages and ages? I hope not… we only see this lifespan and to be stiill a young species is so not nice… but oke, yet I will try to do my best in this life I have now..
