There is only this moment now. You cling to the past like a terrier with a bone. What good does that do for you? It does you good only if you use it for insights and awareness, not if you use it to remain limited, a victim, a prisoner of your story. Let all of that go. Here you are. This moment is a blank canvas, dear friend, fellow creator. What if you had no past? What if you woke up this moment with the canvas before you? With nothing to reference, what would you create? Why, the soul would spill beautiful colors onto that canvas and mix them around like a child playing with finger paints. Can you feel the joy of potential? If not, you are clinging to the past. You are so very loved. Feel this, truly feel it, and paint on ….
Thank you for this! I just learned about your website, Suzanne, and am amazed. I was an art major in college and then went on to work as a civilian for the Comptroller of the Navy and felt like I had lost my calling. I started meditating, writing, and moving on. This message is very apropos. Many thanks.
Welcome, Susan!
I just finished your book Messages of Hope, I’ve never heard of you before. I feel SO drawn like I should be able to do this and I don’t know why and especially not how. It brings together everything I’ve been interested in and reading about perfectly. I don’t know what to do next. Actually learn to meditate. How do I get a reading? Love Debbie
