FirefliesNote from Suzanne:  (There is a separate daily message from Sanaya today at www.post.com).  Having just spent the weekend leading a retreat at Unity Village, I still wanted to go back last night with Ty and our pups to soak up the energy of that beautiful, peaceful campus.  It wasn’t just a desire … it was an urge.  Now I know why.  Saturday night in a session with Sanaya that I shared with those gathered, Sanaya commented that the group of participants gave off a combined light that was like a beacon visible from the heavens.  They then said that as each one of our beautiful lights left Unity Village, we would be like fireflies going forth to bring more light to our world.  It was a wonderful analogy, and the first time Sanaya had used it.  As Ty and I arrived at Unity Village for the final stroll around the campus, the sun was setting.  Imagine my delight to see fireflies emerging from the grass in numbers I haven’t seen in years.  I asked Ty, “When’s the last time we’ve seen a firefly?” and he, like me, could not remember.  Now I know why I was called to enjoy that farewell walk.  Thank you, Sanaya, for the beautiful symbol of the fireflies.  May we all realize how much we light up our world, simply by turning up the love that we are.
