“I can appreciate that you feel that way.” Would this not be music to your ears from another if you were to state an opinion? No matter how the other feels, at least you were heard. Can you appreciate that each of the seven billion of you sees things just a bit, if not a great deal, differently? If you can appreciate this, then apply this phrase in your interactions with others and as you read your headlines. It does not mean you agree. It does not mean, “You are right,” and it does not mean, “You are wrong.” It means, “I hear you, and I understand you have a point of view.”
How does it feel to be heard? How does it feel to be appreciated? This is an excellent step toward oneness, the field out beyond right and wrong and differing points of view. No right. No wrong. Just experience.
You are so very loved.
Thank you Suzanne for another timely and profound message. I needed to hear this today and will share it widely. Bless you and your family and works.
Much love
I much appreciate this post. We all want to be heard. ♥️
I love this. I often say “I hear you” when someone states an opinion or feeling. But “I can appreciate that you feel that way” sounds even more positive. I will probably use it a lot–especially at this divisive time in our history.
SINCERE GRATITUDE SANAYA FOR REMINDING US OF THE DIVINE LOVING KINDNESS
