You never act alone. When you set your mind to something that will serve the greater good, when that is your intent, you are given helpers at the higher levels. They will accompany you as you set about your task. You may not see or hear or feel them, but can you trust that they are there? You have guides for different tasks throughout your life. What is the most pressing task at hand for you in this moment? Here. You are given help. Take it willingly and with trust see how this awareness changes things for you. You are so very loved. Step forward now, knowing you do not do so alone.

Suzanne, Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou ????????
I have a question about intent. My intentions are often a mix of altruistic things and ego-based things. I’m working on a project, for instance, that I believe will be of interest to others. (Or at least entertaining to them.) But I’m hoping to receive recognition for this project as well. So I’m trying to “serve the greater good”…but I’m also, admittedly, trying to give my ego a boost.
Do ego-based intentions ever undermine spirit’s willingness to help? Is there a certain balance point beyond which spirit would be like, “Nope, dude, that’s too much about you and not enough about the others. We won’t be helping you this time around.”
I think this question would also apply to many athletes, artists…people doing things for others to enjoy, but *also* doing them for the accolades/fame.
Too much ego and Spirit will definitely interfere. Regular motive checks make all the difference. It’s okay to do things for the joy of it. Success ensues when we pursue things from the heart. The ego enjoys success, and that’s okay. Stay heart-centered and your project should flow beautifully! Blessings.
Thank you for the response, Suzanne. Regular motive-checking makes a lot of sense. Blessings to you as well.
