What are you stressing about? Surely there is something. It is the human way to fret and worry, chewing your nails and thus creating even more stress. That is exactly how ego likes it, wrapping you in a cocoon of fear. What if you were to laugh at ego? To say, “Oh, there you go again, asserting your independence!” And then simply ignore ego’s ways. You need not fight the fears and worries or deny them, but recognize them for what they are: automatic, well-practiced patterns. And then, in this awareness, having laughed, smile and get on with trusting that God is at the helm. You can relax now, and simply adjust the sails.
Dear Suzanne. First of all thank you, thank you. What a blessing it is to be able to listen to Sanaya’s lessons and wisdom.
I read the 37 pages of Awakening and scrolled down to the right where WORRY is placed.
I worry about my younger daughter, ( 38!!) even she is very spiritual, and she believes very deeply, but she does not take care of her health and has many health issues. She could help herself but she does not. I love her very much and we are very close.
And what mostly bothers me or rather makes me sad is , that she stays mostly inside of her house, curtains closed
watching TV or is on the internet.
I pray every single day that she will realize that she has a responsibility for her own life. Is it the way she has to learn here on this earth??
I try to let go and give it, ( my worries) to the universe.
Love Brigitte
