Nested dolls. There can be no better analogy for your true nature than this. You find yourself now in a very dense world, feeling quite separate from others. But what if the center of you is also the center of a soul, which is the center of an even higher being still? And what if the center of that Be-ing, which is not a person once you have gone higher beyond the dense physical world, is also the center of all others? If you all share the same center, then you also share the same attributes of the field of creative intelligence from which all these nested dolls arise. If you are feeling a bit closed in, cut off, or off balance, expand your awareness beyond your current viewpoint as “only human.” Ask the question “What am I” of something beyond your greatest imagining. Ask it often as you peel back the layers of dolls and find the center that is always and already here. You are so very loved.
Beautiful messages
I have been doing a lot of thinking about Bubbles over the last several months, actually before I encountered your work. Knowing that the inside of every atom is empty except for the particles that move around and are un-noticed until “looked for,” my metaphor of the bubble works in my mind. If I take a little dish soap and hit it with water– I get the “Big Bang.” I am the bubble, the center is the “God space,” I am connected and passing soap substance to all other bubbles. When I pop the veil disappears and I am connected to the larger “God space.”
Then take a look at sacred geometry and the Flower of Life. I made one on tracing paper and hung it on the window of my office. I can imagine in in 3-D. Guess what? It’s bubbles–into infinity.
When I was introduced to your work, one of your metaphors included bubbles. I was struck by the fact that your bubbles seemed to be independent. Mine were all connected. I felt compelled to share with you when I read about your nesting dolls.
I am taking your Shift Course right now. Quarantine is preventing me from meeting with anyone to do a reading. I wish that I had a FB group to join so that I can hear other people’s experiences and thoughts. Apparently the one I tried to join is closed.
Hi Carol. You must have seen my bubble analogy in my IANDS talk – it’s the second video at suzannegiesemann.com/videos. They may APPEAR to be separate, but that’s how we are in our bodies, yet we know at another level they’re all connected. I just had the same insights as you about the flower of life yesterday — all interconnected bubbles!!! Blessings!
Hi Carol, I just finished the class and am happy to do a practice reading with you sometime. You can reach me at sallyhawk1@aol.com
Hi Suzanne,
How are you? I hope you and Ty are keeping well.
I’m a newcomer to your teachings of mediumship. And this was my first ‘Daily Way’ to read.
I think this will help me navigate through these homebound days. I’m feeling increasingly more off balance.
Usually a glass-half-full type of person, the other day was different. I thought “I’m never going to see my one week-old new granddaughter (out of province), I’m not ever going to see my 27-year-old granddaughter or my daughter again.”
I hope I was wrong. In any case, your words here remind me to practice shifting my focus, beginning with “what am I”.
Thank you for this guidance, Suzanne and Sanaya ?.
Hi Lee – oh, definitely shift your focus. We just get caught in the story and the stale thoughts (see yesterday’s message) go round and round!.
There are so many similarities between the image of the nested dolls and the layers of the onion. In each image, we peel back or open up a little further, getting closer to a core of who and what we really are–and how we are all the same–as expressions of pure awareness. This reminds me of a small format book, “The Impersonal Life” authored anonymously and publishes by DeVorss. It’s written in the first person, addressed to the reader. The reader is addressed as the perfect expression of God’s perfect idea.
What if the the observer–our so-called individual selves–and the observed–the object of our thoughts and perceptions–are expressions of the same pure awareness? Maybe like different poles of the same magnet? Pure Awareness is thinking us. It follows that we can pass through everything because we are everything, all infinite Love.
HI Suzanne,
I have recently discovered you and since then, have been on a journey of trying to understand how to “discover myself”… I love the metaphor with the dolls and in a logical sense, can understand discovering the center of ourselves, but it’s the passage and process of removing all of the layers that confuses me. I am really seeking direction…
I will persist though and be patient with myself.
Thank you!
Hi Suzanne:) About 2 years ago my guides showed me the image of the nesting dolls – red Russian ones, on 2 occasions. This was in an answer to a question regarding a client (I am a mind/body/spirit practitioner). Shortly after these images, I was in Boston with my family and we were taking a rest and getting something to eat. I told them to I would find a table and was led to a table right next to a vendor with a cart selling red russian nesting dolls! I bought a set and use them routinely with my clients to show the layers of the “onion”, how we heal different aspects of ourselves to get to the core. But this teaching takes it to another level with the soul nesting within the All. I felt myself expanding just reading this. Interesting they used the plural – we are being asked to peel back not just our layers but everyone’s to see and affirm that core. “Ask it often as you peel back the layers of dolls and find the center that is always and already here.” Beautiful! Thank you.
Was just reading about the practice of tonglen – breathing in the collective pain and suffering, breathing out love, kindness, and compassion. There is no such thing as personal suffering, is there? Though I’m sure I will forget plenty of times.
sanaya is pointing out our greater reality–the real”I’.thank you so muchfor the love of “humans” thank you suzanne.
