What is a person?  You see a body and you expect that one you come to recognize and know to act and speak in a certain way.  These are patterns of energy you are seeing and experiencing.  The body is a pattern of energy.  Look at it very closely.  Now even closer, closer, closer until the matter dissipates into what?  Patterns of energy.  This same energy is the source of all thoughts, sensations, and the subsequent emotions that arise.  Patterns.  You can learn much from these patterns, which is the whole point from the higher perspective of repeating the patterns.  You arise from Pure Consciousness, which you may call God.  You arise from one indivisible field of infinite intelligence, which you may call Love.  See beyond the patterns to the Source and know how connected you are to all that is as an expression of love.
