So many “shoulds” and “musts” and “have tos.” Relax and be. No needs, no worries. “But I must eat! I must put shelter over my head and my family.” Yes, you are correct. And beyond that come the shoulds and needs and have tos, do they not? This is excess, a word we use with no judgment intended. We merely wish you to look at the pressure imposed by thoughts, perceptions, and habits. We are also not speaking only of possessions and physical things. If you think you should and need to and must be different, better, greater than you are, then again we advise you to breathe, relax, and simply be. Each moment will take care of itself when you allow each to flow into the next without added pressure.
So true, Sanaya. What you say applies to spiritual progress as well. We “must” make more progress in this life. We “should” become masters of mediation in order to increase our vibrational state. When what we really need to do is remember that “every step is sacred, every breath is holy.”
