Uplifting others. How often do you do so? It is a gift you can give freely—a kind of service. It takes very little effort, time, or cost. A word of encouragement, a smile, a listening ear that says, “You matter.” And the most wondrous result: in uplifting others, you are uplifted. Yes: a rising tide lifts all boats. You can so easily drag others down unless you remain in awareness that the natural tendency of the soul is to rise. Rise and shine, beautiful light!

Thank you so much for this message this morning. I could hear my mother’s voice ringing out “Rise and Shine!” which is how she woke us up as children.
