Think about knitting. The very thinking about it is the first step in creation. You hold an idea in the mind which turns into an image of what you wish to create. And then, row by row, stitch by stitch, it begins to appear. And there are so many choices along the way: color, type of stitch, number of rows, and so on. And perhaps there will be mistakes, and you must unravel a bit of what you have sown. And is this not a most excellent metaphor for how you create your reality? Stitch by stitch, choice by choice. Look around you. The world you are experiencing is the result of what you have knitted with your consciousness—your choices. Knit consciously and find greater peace.

It is fascinating to watch the plethora of things that sidetrack us from our intended. Things we may or not want or need in our lives. Yet these same sidetracks can be the very things to out us back on track… the track we are meant to be on, just as easy as putting us further from our goals. The difference arrives in the degree to which we attend the spirit life we have while in this carnal state.
Knowing this is not the resolve. The living of the soul’s intent and the learning with the soul’s intent is what brings us closer to who and what we all are and where we aim.
Every stitch, every thought, every action, word n deed builds the world in which you live… in which we live. Of course it does. What else could allow such freedom and design to exist. Even when you drop a stitch, it becomes/is part of the design. Our design.
