Stories are passed down from generation to generation. What are you, but a story being played out in biographical form. The stories you learned and observed from your forebears become yours to tell and express. “I am just like my mother,” or “That is just like my father” are phrases you recognize for a reason. You are carrying on a story. This is conditioned behavior. Which parts of the story serve you well and which parts are like a hell? You can change the story at any time, but this requires awareness. Heightened awareness. Rise above the story and observe. These are the first two steps to changing patterns.
You are so very loved.

You are so welcome!
This message speaks to me….ohh! I have been trying very hard to change the stories that do not serve me. They are ever so sticky!!! very challenging to let go and the key is heightened awareness.
I have been trying….2 steps forward, one step back. I guess baby steps. I will keep at it until I can say, “woot woot, I am free, phew!!!”
Thank you Suzanne. Thank you Senaya.
Yes, this is the key!
What a beautiful quote. Amazingly, I just had a telephone call from a distant Aunt today, about my family background and Genealogy, back into the 1800s. Plus my meditation this morning was about going back into my parents, one by one, before conception and bringing back what I felt I was from conception to today. To read your quote at the end of my morning was like someone tied a big bow on it, purposely for me to read. Thank you for enkindling encouragement and motivation XOXO
How nice!
Thank you. It makes all the sense of the world.
