Imagine a crystal ball, clear as can be. Is it a tool of magic? Not at all. It is a point of focus, just as can be a candle, a mirror, a flower, or any other object real or imagined of your choosing. The point of such an object is to still the mind as you gaze upon it, waiting expectantly. And that is the key. Your very expectations in gazing are expressing the intention that you are willing to experience something arising from beyond normal thinking. This is exactly what then happens. Thoughts, images, and other sensations arise from the superconscious—the sea of all possibilities—as you wait with mind focused and still.
This is how it works …divination, connection with loved ones and higher beings, prophecy, the seeking of guidance, and the like. It is not magic, but taking the conscious mind to a higher level where it connects and accesses the field of limitless possibilities from which all arises.
The bible warns us not to practice divination. How does that reconcile with your course?
Also, on many occasions in the bible Jesus banishes demons from people. That is my concern to “Surrender” in the “Bless Me” practice. Would it be Okay to surrender to all who come in the name of Jesus?
You are wonderful Suzanne. I’ve ordered Wolf’s Message.
I hope we can say hello in heaven one day.
John
Anything done from the heart that is aligned with the highest motive of love and service is reconciled naturally. Demons are negative thought-forms and we are all quite familiar with these. Surrendering is another word for aligning with Soul. Blessings.
