Is there not a drawer or closet in your dwelling place into which you place your odds and ends for which there is no other place? In there are things for which you think you may have a need at some future time, with which you cannot bear to part. Why is this? What are you afraid of losing? What are you holding onto?
There is a place within you—within the dwelling place of the soul incarnated—into which you pour memories you no longer need and which no longer serve you. Why are you holding onto them? Have you learned from them and moved on? What are you afraid of losing?
Is it not time to clear out the junk drawer? There is a reason that you call it clutter. Repeat after us: “I AM free.”
Thank for your diligence. I know it is not always easy to find the time to complete this daily blessing, but many of us give you thanks and send our kind regards. Blessings be yours. Maureen

A junk drawer can describe many areas that need cleaning out our discards ~ a closet holds clothing that I work around when pieces are ignored and need to be passed on to another person who might benefit from them. Stacks of paper, boxes unopened in months ~ your post is motivation!!
