Upheaval. Do you not realize this is how mountains are formed? Your earthly mother who hosts you in her home holds these up-heaved parts of herself up to you as the grandest examples of divine majesty—the results of the growth process. And what are you experiencing in your world now? Upheaval? It has always been that way and will continue apace, for that is how you, as self-similar expressions of the One, Being, grow in the ongoing process of learning how much you can love. As you stretch and grow and experience a bit of up-heaving amongst yourselves, with the bigger picture you will see that the end result of this upheaving process is even greater expressions of Beauty.

What a lovely perspective of how mothers get to be fully mothers. Upheaval does create an increased capacity to understand and love. Thank you for this beautiful tribute as many of us ready our homes for loved ones this Christmas.

How clearly i remember living as if i could (as if we all could and would) stop the upheavals from happening. All we had to do, was learn and teach each other to do our best.
Funny how that works out to the same but different results… when it is the upheavals that offer so much and many lessons for learning. When Christ was born, there were tremendous upheavals, and when Christ lived, he taught us how to go forward regardless of upheavals When Christ suffered the Cross, our sins were forgiven, and our upheaval is the shame we carry when we realize, as Christ said, “They know not what they do.”
Thank God for Christ. To me, Christmas is the best of all commemorative days. It is the vision and Grace of God’s giving. May we please remember it so clear as to flow tears of thanks and joy from our hearts.
