When you least expect it. Is this not when some of your greatest surprises occur? Why else would you call them a surprise? You may think you know what is best for you. You may ask for certain things to happen, and yet they do not. And then, when you have let down your guard, ceased hoping and asking repeatedly, then your wish is granted. You do not control the timing of life unfolding. Your task is to learn to flow and to allow life to unfold. When you can do this peace ensues. Then you are no longer stuck in the rut of desires, wants, and expectations filled and unfilled. These ups and downs can be oh so tiring. Can you allow yourself to be surprised … when you least expect it?

Suzanne! I JUST THIS MINUTE received your message upon finishing writing the text for a very modest webpage, talking about my history of being SURPRISED by the ability to channel and “see” into other realms as a result of explorations following on the death of my husband. I credit you and my meditation master (Namgyal Rinpoche, who was my lama for 6 years) for guiding me toward this ‘surprise’. Folks can arrange for a reading if they like. Suddenly everything is coming together at once – readings, the website that’s been dangling for 18 months, a ‘spiritual autobiography’, being invited to submit a proposal to Spiritual Awakenings International as a “multiple spiritually transformative experiences” (STEs) experiencer (don’t know how else to call it…!)
Since doing your soul-to-soul course where I discovered, much to my amazement, that I could do this too, as you encouraged I gave a number of readings to friends and acquaintances … and then they started paying me! The medical side has been very interesting. I have visions of what almost look MRIs or drawings from medical texts, and, so far, they have been exquisitely, uncannily accurate. Because of having been a medical professional for many years, I have the vocabulary to go along with what I see, and can suggest diagnostics or ways of thinking about what is being shown. This is of great comfort to me, as since retiring from that field, I have often felt that I carry around so much information that is not being useful, but could be somehow. And I love being of help – that’s why I became a midwife in the first place!
I have been so privileged to ‘travel’ to many times and places, and ‘meet’ so many wonderful personalities coming through. sometimes there are even words, like the names of people in readers’ lives, or the names of ancient countries whence come their ancestors, or of relatives and friends on the other side, and there has been a plethora of cogent details as evidence.
I do find, though, that sometimes things are clear and precise, and sometimes muddy and unclear or not seemingly relevant. so far, it seems connected both with how I am feeling (too much attention to the news of the day brings me down, as does being tired) and how open my sitter is to receiving what Spirit wants, not necessarily what he/she wants.
So, a belated thank you so much for your support in this exciting new direction, and I’ll keep you up to date every now and then as to how things transpire. I hope to be able to see you in person and visit Lilydale if Canada ever gets reasonable about its borders again!

Suzanne, words can’t express how grateful I am. Thank you so much for your- you tube “Connect across the Veil in 7 steps”. I slipped right in & was immediately connected to our beloved Labrador that crossed a few weeks ago. I was in bed (when I did the connection) and felt a weight beside me . He gently inch his way up to me and put his head on my heart & I have never felt such love and peace. I now know with a full heart that he is truly at peace and his soul is still with us. I am truly grateful for your guidance! Thank you!

Not only what I wrote earlier, but my daughter, who has been very very ill with addiction, chose TODAY to finally ask for help after 14 years. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude! Now that’s what I call a welcome SURPRISE! (And the worker with whom she may liaise is called Barry, my late husband’s name, on whom I’ve been calling to help her from Spirit. Accidental? I don’t think so!)
