Fixed beliefs are akin to erecting a wall around your eyes, your ears, and your heart. Nothing gets in that is not aligned with the beliefs inside the wall. Opportunities may come knocking, but they are not allowed to enter. New truths may flutter about, gently trying to find an opening, but the more firmly you hold onto your cherished ideas about the way things are, the less you are aware of anything but your limited thoughts. Be open. Knock down the walls. If something is too uncomfortable to accept, it will pass by, but at least it was acknowledged. Oh, the freedom in being willing to honor all until it is experienced and tested! But you will not know such freedom until and unless you begin to look at the walls themselves, brick by brick, belief by hardened belief. You are so very loved.

Thank You and Sanaya so much for these words. I am very reluctant to express myself to my loved ones for the very reason of their Fixed Beliefs. I have forwarded this email and I hope the message gets through.

Take Care.
Growing up a catholic, and still practicing, it was and is easy to get caught up in black and white dogma. There are still times I feel guilty because Sanaya’s words lift me up, hits home and give me great satisfaction. The walls that I built over the years are sometimes impossible to penetrate but Sanaya finds away to get through. Thank you.
