Why do some linger and linger and linger when the body has given out? For the will to live, the impulse to continue the bodily experience is so strong. It must be thus. Life is an acronym for Love In Full Expression. You are here for the fullness of it — the days of full vitality and the days of no strength at all. You may think you have lost the will to go on, but the soul knows differently. And beyond the soul, there is a greater Will that drives the whole experience of wholeness, so that ultimately, when the body is no longer viable, LIFE does indeed go on, for as you know, Love truly never dies, no matter how the soul departs the body.

Thank you Sanaya. That helps me understand why he continues and argues quite loudly with the people I don’t see. Thank you also for helping me to “remember” what I am and connect with that part of my soul. These few days that I have known you have been so much more peaceful than the days before when I was 100% human and wondering “what were we thinking?” when we planned this. Universal free will as you explained it makes so much sense. Coupled with the maladies of the human body, your explanation tells me that we likely had no way to know what would cause this most difficult time, actually answering that question.
You keep talking about love. I do not understand what that is. All the soft mush that people talk about as “love” does not make sense to me. I understand action — taking care of someone, going to work every day to support children, a husband checking the oil in the car for his wife, paying a bill for someone who cannot pay, buying groceries at the checkout counter for someone who cannot pay for her groceries, etc. I do not understand this “you are loved” mush. It seems that all the new agers, spiritual people, psychics, mediums, etc. talk about it but nobody has clearly explained it for me. I would really enjoy hearing an explanation that makes sense and is not mushy. Thank you.

If you question what is true spiritual love, you have not yet experienced it. Practice expressing what you presently know as love in every moment, beginning with the most basic acts of kindness. In so doing, you continually raise your own vibration and capacity to feel love. In other words, you awaken the spirit. Be that which you seek and awaken to the full realization of what love is.”
More recently, I simply define divine love (as opposed the conditional human love) as “lack of separation”—that KNOWING that at a deeper level than our people-suits we are all connected. This really isn’t something one can put in words, but we know that connection. It’s why we feel compassion. It is built-in, but the soul’s true nature can be hidden if we are hurt by others or not shown human love. The innate longing to find it is the soul’s way of gently nudging us to excavate the layers of hurt until we find the Love within.
Oh, Nancy. I have heard that sermon before. I believe it is a way for people of the parish to be motivated to do good works. Jesus said somewhere in Matthew, I think, something like, what you do to the least of these, so you do it to me. But we think of this from the separation perspective. When we come to believe that each of us is in fact just a part of the one body of Christ, then what that says is what you do to each other you do to yourselves. But what we church-going Christians fail to see or be taught is that we are Soul, a piece of the LOVE that is GOD and we are part of that ONE Soul, incarnate in a human body, just like Jesus who was and is ONE with God. It gives new meaning to the Trinity which priests find so hard to preach on because we humans see from the separation perspective. So, yes, let’s show our love while within our “skin-suits” and do the things you suggest and know that LOVE is the highest vibration and we are so far from it when we are incarnate human beings that we need to meditate and achieve that awareness that the soul that inhabits the human that we are is only a part of the whole being which is LOVE, God is LOVE and we are one with and of God. Suzanne and Sanaya are so good at making all this make sense to me. Let go of the dogma and surrender to God. If you will look from the Soul perspective, every question you may have had, as I did, will make perfect sense as everything is perfect and in order.

My husband was raised in a family that teased him for being “mushy” they never liked my sentimental “serious” card selections. They preferred the ones that were funny.

It explains that there are many different ways that people like to give and receive love. This book was life-changing for me. I finally understood love comes in many forms not just the way I like to express it. This book was a starting point for me to open my eyes to the vast amount of love in this world!
