At times you overdo it, whatever “it” is. And how much do you berate yourself? What if this is an opportunity to examine why you indulged in behaviors that you know are detrimental to your well being? We daresay there was a part of you that sought to feel better … that sought relief from some aspect of being human. There was a part of you that felt the indulged-in behavior would be more pleasant than experiencing what you were feeling. And now? That temporary pleasantness has been replaced by regret or guilt. But do you realize that the latter are also temporary? If, in the moment of seeking relief, you will remind yourself that what you seek to avoid is also temporary, perhaps that brief pause will help you avoid more pain. You are undivided wholeness in flowing motion. Flow with what is temporary and observe it and you will treat yourself far more lovingly.

THAT’S FOR SURE Sanaya… As you know, I’m in the midst of temporary regret and guilt. I say that as i suspect some more will surface. However, i am also in the midst of seeing the end of this mess with the dimmest light of a new dawn beginning.
