Your thoughts set you free or hold you prisoner. What do you focus upon? What do you affirm repeatedly throughout the day? Is this not, then, your reality? Are you tired of not feeling well? What do you focus upon? Are you tired of being sad? What do you focus upon? Are you consistently angry? What do you focus upon? Are you defensive upon hearing these words? What do you focus upon? We think by now you understand where we are going. Try a new focus if you are not content, and if you want utter peace and contentment, go to that place beyond thoughts. You may not be able to stay there for lengthy periods, but oh, once you know that state of no-thought that is your basic nature, you will slip there for refreshment often until peace becomes your overt nature and your focus. You are so very loved.
Thank you Sanaya!!! I needed this message today!!
Suzanne I would love to hear what Sanaya says the Buddha focused on
We all need this reminder at times. That’s a pretty safe assumption. However, when we do answer Sanaya suggested we ask, there are times when it just makes dense to answer them to yourself. That may take some time to realize where your disturbances start. And then, the fix is sometimes easy and other times more difficult than you want the fix to be. Either way – any way, the fix IS possible. Enjoy that journey
