When you pick up a remote control and change the channel, you trust that this will happen.  You instantly see the results on the screen before you.  In the case of connecting across the veil, it is also done wirelessly.  The remote control is your attention.  Where attention goes, consciousness flows.  Your loved ones and guides across the veil are simply operating on a different channel.  The veil is the flesh, which keeps you under the illusion that those in the other channels are far away, rather than simply experiencing a different channel of life.  Learn to fine-tune the channels, and switch at will.  Love is the equalizing current, so you have an advantage:  You are so very loved.
